On 19 March 2018, the EU Corner in Klos Municipality organized a meeting with different citizens and young people from the high school of Klos, with the theme “Active Citizenship”. 

In this activity, the EU Coordinator for this municipality, Mrs. Blediana Hoxha, made a brief presentation of the recently launched EU Corner in this city, its functionality and opportunities that this Corner provides depending on the needs and interests of youth and citizens of Klos.

On 30 March 2018, the EU Corner in the municipality of Klos, in cooperation with the city hall, students from secondary schools and different citizens, organized an activity for cleaning the city in the framework of the initiative “Clean our city”.

“Clean environment - a healthy life” - was the logo that was presented to the children of Klos City schools by the EU Corner.

In the framework of the Europe Day, on 9 May 2018, an informative activity was organized by the Coordinator Bledjana Hoxha on the EU Corner in this municipality.

The activity was organized with the participation of the secondary school students in the city of Klos.

At this activity, the participants were informed and discussed on the functions of the EU Corner in this municipality, and a large number of EU leaflets were distributed to students.

On May 15, 2018, the EU Corner in Klos municipality organized an activity with students of the secondary School in Klos city on the International Day of Families.

Initially, a presentation on this day was organized by the EU Local Coordinator. Through the posters, counseling and interpretations of the secondary school students, very clear, meaningful messages about the importance, values and necessity of the “Family” were conveyed.

The students expressed their opinions on the family and its problems.

On May 23, 2018, the EU Corner coordinator in Klos municipality organized an activity in cooperation with the city Association for the Blind People.

At the beginning of the activity, the EU Corner was initially introduced in the city. The presentation provided first the necessary information about the way of treating of persons with disabilities in the territory of the member countries of the European Union as well as on the opportunities available for the entirely blind or partially sighted blind people in these countries.
