  • Information Session about EU

    On May 6, 2018, within the framework of European Day, the EU Corner of Fushë Arrës Municipality with the support of the EU-funded “Cities for Europe” project organized an informative meeting with some of the students and teachers of “Pjetër Arbnori”secondary school in Fushë-Arrëz.

    The meeting provided information about the history, founders, symbols and statistics of the EU.

  • Information Session with farmers of the Municipality of Fushë Arrëz

    On May 16, 2018, the EU Corner in Fushë Arrëz Municipality organized a meeting with the farmers of the Administrative Unit Iballë, Municipality of Fushë-Arrëz, in which were discussed the land analysis results with the aim of informing the community to be more efficient of what and when to sow their lands in order to have better and more profitable harvest.

    This activity was organized in cooperation with the Agropuka organization.

  • Information Session on European Union

    Within the agenda of the “Europe Week” on 11 May 2018, the EU Corner in Fushë Arrëz organized an information session on EU history and policies.

    This activity was attended by two second grade high school students of the city.

    Representatives of the Municipality as well as Peace Corps employees in this city participated in thic activity as audience.

  • Awareness raising activity with students from high school

    In the framework of the project titled “Extremism of Violence” organized with the president of the association, “Disabled People Counseling Center”, Mrs. Antonijeta Pera, in cooperation with the academic staff of Fushë-Arrëz High School, representatives of the Social Affairs Office, and the EU Corner Coordinator of this municipality, organized an awareness activity with the students of this school on the above mentioned topic.

    Various thematic elements of human rights, social, cultural, religious, gender equality etc. were at the focus of this activity.

  • Creative Recycling

    The Albanian government's initiative to reduce plastic bags has started to give the first effects even in the Fushë-Arrëz municipality.

    In this perspective, the group of young people in the study circle “Creative Recycling” in Fushë-Arrëz, supported by “Agroapuka” and 'We Effect', two organizations operating in this region, in cooperation with the EU corner of this city, carried out an awareness campaign for the exclusion of plastic bags.
