On July 7, 2018, the EU Corner in Kukes Municipality was present in the village of Shishtavec, a community with great potentials both agricultural and tourist, and well-known for the cultivation and quality of potatoes.

During the meeting, the employees of the Corner provided sufficient information to the residents of the region on the opportunities for European Union support in the field of agriculture through its IPARD program.

On February 14, 2018, some of the children of the EU-funded Underadio project carrying out its activities in the Kuçova region, visited the EU Corner in the municipality of this city. 

After getting acquainted with some of the many materials exposed in the stends of this Corner, they decided to make some recordings and share this information with their peers across the country through radio waves they use for their projects. Their recordings this time were focused on these topics:

On 27 March 2018, the EU Corner in the Municipality of Kuçova was visited by a group of students of the “18 October” secondary school of this city.

The EU Local Coordinator provided the students with information on the purpose of having an EU Corner in this municipality, its method of operation, and various promotional materials on the European Union.

Afterwards, the students followed an information session on the EU, its history, institutions and symbols.

On 3 April 2018, the EU Corner in Kuçova Municipality organized a meeting with the youth of Kuçova Youth Center.

The EU Local Coordinator provided the youth with information on the purpose of having an EU Corner in this municipality, its method of operation, various promotional materials on the European Union located in the premises of this Corner.

After the information provided on the Corner, the youth followed an information session on the EU, its history, institutions and different programs for young people.

On April 17, 2018, the EU Corner in Kuçova Municipality organized a meeting on gender equality with children/young people of the Underadio project.

During this meeting, the youth were informed by the EU Local Coordinator in this municipality, on the terminology related to gender equality, violence against women, gender mainstreaming. A detailed description of the European Union's Gender Equality Agenda was provided to young people.
