On April 12, 2018, the EU Corner in Kukës Municipality hosted a presentation meeting with a group of students of the Havzi Neza General Secondary School of this city.

During this meeting, the students were informed about the role and function of this Corner, as well as some of the issues that can be addressed to this corner in the future.

The students were very interested in all EU programs, especially for Erasmus Plus, as a good opportunity from which they could benefit a very qualified education.

The EU Corner in Kukes Municipality in cooperation with the Center for Youth Progress in this city and various volunteers of this organization has undertaken an EU Corner presentation campaign in all villages of Kukes region.

In this context, on May 14, 2018, an introductory meeting of the EU Corner as well as the opportunities offered by the EU was organized with the inhabitants of Topojan village of the Shishtavec administrative unit.

The EU Corner inthe Municipality of Kukes, in cooperation with YËCA – “Albanian Christian Women Association”, organized on May 16, 2018, a meeting in the Municipality of this city in the framework of the project “Leave No-one behind” (Leave No -one behind),which is a four year program of United Nations that seeks to empower vulnerable people in Albania by providing equal access to public services and opportunities, to have a voice in decision-making on issues that affect their lives and to ensure accountability from responsible persons.

Taking advantage of the Skills and Career Fair, which was held in Kukes for the first time on May 30, 2018, the EU Corner of this city organized the event at this fair with an open stand for the public.

During this day, considering the active participation of the young people in general as well as citizens, the EU Corner stands had an increased number of visitors.

On June 21, 2018, the EU Corner in Kukes was a participant at the Career Fair, which took place in the village of Bicaj, Kukës Municipality.

In order to have a inclusive representation and presentation of the EU Corner in this activity, the local Coordinators of this corner traveled to Bicaj village to conduct a conversation with villagers in order to make them aware of the EU Corner in this city as well as providing information on what the EU Corner offers to them and how to use the information they receive from it.
