On the International Earth Week, the EU Corner in Durres Municipality, in cooperation with the students of the non-public school “Migjeni”, organized an activity aimed at planting as many trees as possible.

Consequently, together and under the caution of the cleaning and greenery maintetnace employees of the city municipality, managed by the EU Corner team in this city, they planted a considerable amount of seedlings in the neighborhood No. 4 of the city, giving it a different image from what we were used to seeing so far.

Within the framework of the “Week of Europe”, the EU Cornerin Durres in cooperation with the “Club of Lawyers” of Aleksander Moisiu University in this city, organized an open class at the high school “Gjergj Kastrioti” themed “Get to know the EU institutions”.

Following the activities within the “Week of Europe”, the local coordinator of Durres Municipality gave an interview to the local media aiming at promoting the EU corner. The interview had a great impact that did not go unnoticed and had a lot of positive feedback.

On 31May, 2018, the Municipality of Durrës organized a public hearing within the 2019-2021 MTBP for the PoliciyDevelopment Directorate (Economic and Tourism Development Policy department is part of this Directorate, which also serves as the office dealing with the applications and implementation of IPA Crossborder and Transnational projects since 2011).

On June 2, 2018, the Department of Justice at the Faculty Political Sciencesand Law, Aleksandër Moisiu University in Durrës (UAMD) organized a scientific conference on “Good Governance as an important Dimension for the Integration towards the European Union”.
