On May 23, 2018, the EU Corner coordinator in Klos municipality organized an activity in cooperation with the city Association for the Blind People.
At the beginning of the activity, the EU Corner was initially introduced in the city. The presentation provided first the necessary information about the way of treating of persons with disabilities in the territory of the member countries of the European Union as well as on the opportunities available for the entirely blind or partially sighted blind people in these countries.
Part of this activity was also the participation of this association to “The European Union of the Blind” organization, which is the only organization that represents the interests of the blind and partially sighted in Europe.
The meeting aimed at providing the necessary knowledge to people with disabilities regarding social inclusion and equal opportunities for blind and partially-sighted people to participate fully in all aspects of social, economic, cultural and political life.
