Përmet, April 12th 2019. The parliamentary Commission on Integration, held a meeting in Përmet. The European Integration and Foreign Assistance Coordination Unit in the Municipality of Përmet, helped organize the event.

In addition to the members of the Commission, attending the meeting were representatives of the local institutions (the Municipality, the Educational Office, schools etc.), regional institutions (the prefecture and the county), active members of the community and representatives of civil society and youth.

Municipality of Kurbin, April 19th 2019 – The European Integration and Foreign Assistance Coordination Unit in the Municipality of Kurbin, organized an information session with the students of the high school of Milot Administrative Unit.

Participant at the meeting were teachers, students of the third year, as well as the school psychologist.

On April 22nd, in the framework of “International Earth Day”, the European Integration and Foreign Assistance Coordination Unit in the municipality of Gramsh, in coordination with the Peace Corpus and the Youth council of Gramsh, organized an awareness activity where the youth planted flowers at the center of the city, and also gave information to the community, regarding the ways of contributing for the protection of our environment and earth.

In the framework of “International Earth Day”, celebrated in 22nd of April, the European Integration Unit in the Municipality of Lushnje organized an activity at the “Vaçe Zela” Art Centre, called “Become a friend of Earth”.

A painting competition was held during the activity, attended by the students of 35 elementary schools of the city of Lushnje.

May 7th 2019 – In the framework of the activities organized throughout all the 61 Municipalities of Albania by the European Integration and Foreign Assistance Units, during “Europe Week”, the Municipality of Mat held a meeting called “Municipality of the Youth”.

In the City Council meeting room, the students and senators of “Pjeter Budi” high school along with it’s directors, discussed with the city councilors, during a special meeting, attended also by the Deputy Mayor of Mat Municipality, Mrs. Anjeza Shema.
