The 'Municipalities for Europe' project, which has already entered into a recurring phase of cooperation with the Local Government Units in Albania,  in cooperation with the EU Corner of Belsh and the city municipality jointly organized on March 21, 2018 the activity: “Belshi Lakes - Maintain and appreciate our natural and cultural assets/resources as a basis for sustainable development”.

The event was conceived by the organizing team of the EU Corner and the Municipality of Belsh, in the framework of the World Water Day, with its theme for 2018 “Nature for Water”

After a full training session in the city of Vlora with 30 local EU coordinators administering the EU Corners in 61 municipalities of the country, the sequence of their capacity building continued in the city of Kruja on 15 and 16 March 2018.

Likewise, the first training, the focus of this session, for all the coordinators, was the methodology of interactive communication of EU Corners with various institutional stakeholders, domestic and international, in order to manage the daily work processes of the EU's Corner.

the EU Corner in the Mirdita Municipality chose to organize on teacher’s day, a conversation with young people in the city of Rrëshen and the surroundings, about the opportunities offered by Erasmus Plus Program of the European Union.

The Municipalities for Europe Project organised a full training session in the city of Vlora for about 30 local EU coordinators administering the EU Corners in their respective cities.

The focus of this training was the methodology of interactive communication of the EU Corners with various institutional actors, domestic and international, aiming at a proper administration of the daily workload of the EU Corner.

In close cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, the Municipalities to Europe project organised an Information Day on the Program “ Europe for Citizens” .

Targeting all EU Corner Coordinators of 61 Municipalities, the Ministry of Culture – as the administrator of this Program in Albania, in close cooperation with Municipalities to Europe Project, organised an information session regarding a call for proposals in the framework of the Europe for Citizens Program, eligible to all municipalities in Albania.
