In close cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, the Municipalities to Europe project organised an Information Day on the Program “ Europe for Citizens” .
Targeting all EU Corner Coordinators of 61 Municipalities, the Ministry of Culture – as the administrator of this Program in Albania, in close cooperation with Municipalities to Europe Project, organised an information session regarding a call for proposals in the framework of the Europe for Citizens Program, eligible to all municipalities in Albania.
This meeting focused its attention towards respective instructions during the application process in different calls for proposals under this program.
EU Ambassador in Albania greeted this meeting, in which she highlighted: “Exploit any possibility offered to you in improving the quality of life in your country, bringing the Albanian citizens and European citizens closer to each other.”
EU funded program, Europe for Citizens is one of the best initiatives and funding sources established by the European commission, which is focused on the short term and long term historical memory of Europe, which has calls for proposals which are eligible to civil society organisation as well as local government units all over Europe.
