The EU Corner in the Municipality of Prrenjas on June 8, 2018 organized a training on the “Project Management Cycle”
This training was attended by municipal administration officials from the Legal Department, Social Services, Urban Planning Directorate, and Directorate of Finance etc. Who received the necessary information on how to write a project proposal. This skill acquired during the project trainings of Municipalities in Europe was provided to the municipal staff by the EU coordinator in the city.

The EU Corner in the Municipality of Prrenjas on July 9, 2018 organized in the hall of the city council a workshop on the topic “Needs Assessmen for Social Care Services”.

This meeting was intended to absorb the opinions and views of all public and non-public actors in the field of social care services on vulnerable categories and the needs for social care services in the territory of this municipality.

On 1 July 2018, at the EU Corner of the Municipality of Poliçan, a meeting was organized with the members of the Multidisciplinary Commission on Social Problems in this City.

On this occasion, the members of this committee were informed through a brief presentation on the purpose and role of the EU Corner in this municipality.

This activity was organized in the premises of the EU Corner, not only to get to know this office more closely but also to inform the public and the administration of the EU on the European Union and its policies.

On May 28, 2018, the EU Corner of Shkodra organized a meeting with students of “Luigj Gurakuqi” University, Faculty of Natural Sciences.

Particular attention was paid to the introduction of young people with the project “Municipalities for Europe”, the functions of the EU corner and especially the benefits of the EU's Erasmus Plus program.

On the World No-Tobacco Day, the EU Corner of Shkodra, in cooperation with the Housing and Social Services Directorate, organized an activity with students from “Shejnaze Juka” high school of this city.

The purpose of this activity was to raise awareness of the risks associated with tobacco consumption.

Ms. Lorena Bardeli, a specialist in the Public Health and Consumer Protection Sector at Shkoder municipality, addressed the issues that tobacco consumption has brought.
