CITY COUNCILORS FOR ONE DAY!

POGRADEC, 9th of May, 2019 – In the framework of “Europe Day” celebrations, the European Integration and Foreign Assistance Coordination Unit in the municipality of Pogradec, in cooperation with the city’s high schools, organized the “Europe Day – United in diversity” event.

The activities goal was to highlight and recognize the European Union values and the importance of making them part of our culture, in order to make the European integration a more natural process for Albanian citizens. 

Selenica, 23 April 2019 – The European Integration and Foreign Assistance Coordination Unit in the Municipality of Selenica, organized an event marking the International Earth Day, in cooperation with students and teachers of the 7th and 8th grade of “Todi Koçeli” middle school.

Among the activities carried out on this occasion was a poetry space, dedicated to the preservation of our planet, and an exhibition of artistic works made out of recyclable materials, such as flowers planted in plastic bottles.

22 APRIL 2019 – The European Integration and Foreign Assistance Coordination Unit, in the Municipality of Belsh, organized an Earth Day event.

Present in the activity were students and teachers of “Hysni Çela” middle school in Karina.

The students carried out an exhibition of their own drawings, whose main theme was the environment and its protection.

“Without a clean environment, there’s no life”. This was the message that characterized the event, carried out under the special care of the EU Corner in the Municipality of Peqin.

The European Integration Unit in the Patos Municipality, in cooperation with the Regional Directory of Social Services in Fier, organized informative activities on “the fight against Human Trafficking and Irregular Immigration" with students of the "Zhani Ciko” and “Sotir Çapo" high schools, located in Patos and in the Administrative Unit of Zharrëz.
