  • The power of youth "invades" the 61 municipalities of Albania
    The "Municipalities in Europe" project organized 95 activities throughout the Europe Week. From the mountains of Tropoja, on the shores of Vlora, from the Castle of Kruja to the many villages of Gjirokastra, youth voices were heard in all the activities of the Europe Week, strongly expressing the desire of the Albanian youth to be part of the big European family.
  • "Europe in my school". “Europe Week” celebrated with sharing information and lots of fun in Vlora

    VLORA, May 9th 2019 – In the framework of “Europe Day”, the European Integration Unit in the Municipality of Vlora, in cooperation with the Regional Education Directorate of the city, organized a festive event with students of the Municipality of Vlora high schools.

    The activity was organized in two sessions.

  • “Municipality of youth”, the young students of Vlora make decisions on their future

    VLORA, May 6th 2019 – In the framework of “Europe Week”, Vlora hosted the “Municipality of youth” activity, where young students of the city became the representatives of their town, by playing the role of the city Councilors. 

  • “Municipality of youth!” Young people of Maliq are the city councilors for one day

    May 9th, 2019 – In the framework of “Europe Week”, the European Integration and Foreign Assistance Coordination Unit in the Municipality of Maliq organized an event on the “Municipality of youth”. For one day, the young people of Maliq became the City Councilors. 

    The activity involved the excellent students of “Skenderbeu” high school in Maliq, who gathered in the City Hall, where for one day they were the decision makers.  The students came up with a series of requests and proposals addressed to the Mayor, who welcomed all of them.

  • Durrës, kids go on a fictional journey across Europe

    In the framework of “Europe Week”, the EU Corner in the Municipality of Durres organized a children’s activity at the “Heritage and Education Association”, with the participation of the book club kids. 

    The event was organized in the form of an imaginary journey through the cities of several EU member states.

    While reading stories from “The Mysteries of the Golden Stars” book, the kids stopped to ask questions and get additional information on each given town, their particularities, history, the country they belong to, etc.
