"Europe equals height, heights require effort, sweating, dedication and will to achieve ...!"

Under this slogan, on June 13 the European Integration Unit in the Municipality of Tropoja organized a climbing trip on top of Mount Jezerca, 2694 meters above sea level, the highest peak of the Alps.

According to pre-determined rules, the winner is Kliton Madani, volunteer and activist of the EU Corner Tropoja, the first to place the flags of Albania and the European Union together with the banner and symbols of the project "Municipalities for Europe", at the peak of the mountain. 

The European Integration and Foreign Assistance Unit in the Municipality of Mat has been distributing gifts that were specially selected for children in need and those with disabilities.

The gifts were provided by the “Municipalities for Europe” project and were distributed throughout all administrative units of the Municipality of Mat.

9 qershor – Njësia e Integrimit Evropian në Bashkinë Vlorë zhvilloi një diskutim të hapur  me studentë dhe të rinj në auditorët e Kolegjit Universitar “Pavarësia”, Vlorë, me temë procesin e integrimit dhe rolin e të rinjve, si qytetarë aktivë që do të çojnë përpara këtë proces të rëndësishëm të vendit. 

Ky aktivitet i Zyrës së Bashkimit Evropian në Bashkinë e Vlorës, u zhvillua në bashkëpunim edhe me Akademinë e Studimeve Politike. 

The European Integration Units staff, in all 61 Municipalities of Albania, gathered in an online meeting, organized and coordinated by the Municipalities for Europe project and led by the director of the Agency for the Support of Local Self-Government, Mr. Bekim Murati. The extended meeting was attended by 105 participants, thanks to the infrastructure provided by MfE.

Përgjatë dy javëve të fundit, Projekti “Bashkitë për në Evropë”, në bashkëpunim me ASPA ka vazhduar trainimet e përgjegjësve të Njësive të Integrimit Evropian në të gjithë bashkitë e Shqipërisë.

Politikat e Bashkimit Evropian në nivel Vendor, institucionet e Bashkimit Evropian, historiku i marrëdhënieve dhe rrugëtimit të Shqipërisë drejt BE-së, politikat e ndjekura dhe roli i pushtetit në këtë rrugëtim, si dhe roli thelbësor që kanë luajtu dhe do të luajnë Njësitë e Integrimit Evropian në këto bashki, kanë qenë larmia e temave të diskutuara.
