In the framework of “Europe Week”, the EU Corner in the Municipality of Elbasan in cooperation with the city’s Public Library, the director for culture in the municipality, Mr. Fatmir Musaj and the students of literature held a roundtable discussion on the influence of authors from Elbasan towards the European orientation of Albania. As a city of tradition and education, Elbasan has many reasons to feel proud of itself. Such is Dhaskal Todri, the first to bring the letters of the Albanian alphabet from Europe and Konstandin Kristoforidhi, considered as the father of Albanian language.

On the 3rd of May, The European Integration and Foreign Assistance Coordination Unit in the Municipality of Elbasan, in the framework of “Europe Week” organized a Volleyball Cup with the “Ibrahim Bozhiqi” school of the village Qafe, part of the Administrative Unit of Labinot – Mal.

Elbasan, April 26th 2019 – The European Integration and Foreign Assistance Coordination Unit in the Municipality of Elbasan, organized an information session on the European Union in the Qafë village, part of the Labinot-Mal Administrative unit, located about 35 kilometers away from Elbasan city. The meeting was held at the “Ibrahim Bozhiqi” high school, with the presence of this year’s graduate students.

LUSHNJE, MAY 13th 2019 – In the framework of Europe Week, the European Integration Unit in the Municipality of Lushnje, organized a recital with the city’s “Children’s Cultural Center”.

Participating in this music activity were the coordinators of the European Integration Unit in the Municipality of Lushnje, teachers and parents from the Children’s Cultural Center, as well as representatives of the city’s Municipality.

Kavaja, May 9th 2019 – In the framework of “Europe Week”, the EU Corner in the Municipality of Kavaja organized the “Europe Cup” annual event. This football competition was organized with the participation of the city’s elementary schools, as well as with the cooperation of the Culture and Sports Directorate. The Cup’s final match was played by “Mehmet Babamusta” and “Fiqiri Kurti” elementary schools. In the end the awarded winner was the “Fiqiri Kurti” school.
