In the framework of the World Population Day, the EU Corner in the Municipality of Patos held an activity on "Family Planning".
The EU Corner in the Municipality of Tropoja in collaboration with several local civil society organizations (especially the Mary Word Loreto Foundation), Peace Corps volunteers, some local volunteers and the middle school Ali Podrimja in Bajram Curri, organized for the first time in Tropoja a "Summer School" for all children and youth of Tropoja from 9 to 18 years old.The EU Corner in the Municipality of Divjaka, coordinated by Mrs. Besjana Alcani, organized an activity with the city’s Youth about the “Municipality of the Youth”. Held at the city’s Municipality, the meeting showed a different dimension of the City Council, not only because of the age of the participants, but also their way of tackling problems, giving suggestions and their vision for the country’s future.
In the framework of the activities held for “Europe Week”, the EU Corner in the Municipality of Korça organized two events, focusing precisely in citizen knowledge and engagement as common European values.
During the European Youth Week, the young people of Korca spent a day with the elderly of the city’s Third Age Centre.
The EU Corner in the Municipality of Korça, supported by the “Municipalities for Europe” project, organized a one-day activity about “European solidarity”, with the young people of the Youth Centre, focusing on solidarity with the elderly.
20 young people, the staff of the city’s Municipality and the Mayer spent the day in all four Third Age Centers of the city of Korça, taking part in their daily activities.
