In the framework of “Europe Week”, the European Integration and Foreign Assistance Coordination Unit in the Municipality of Kurbin, in cooperation with Elementary School Nr. 3 in Lac, organized two school projects:
- “Touristic Albania” – On May 7th, students of the 9th grade gave a very good presentation on our Albania through mixing artistic and educative components. Given that Albania is an aspiring member of the EU, The European Integration Unit in the Municipality of Kurbin stressed the importance of the development of this sector, as the driving force of economic prosperity.
- “Getting informed on the European Union – The history and its institutions” – On 8th of May, students of the 8th grade presented various artworks of EU symbols, history, institutions and on how they see the integration process of Albania. The European Integration Unit specialist presented to the students and teachers present, detailed information on the history and functioning of EU institutions. During that time, the Twinning platform was presented and how the Elementary School Nr. 3 in Lac is now officially part of “Twinning School” and “School Community Center”.
