Following the work already started since a few months with the 61 municipalities of Albania, the EU Corners have been opened in most of them and new ones continue to be opened. This process, which is almost completed, requires that the EU Coordinators at these corners (municipality EU offices) have the necessary knowledge about the administration of the EU Corner and most important to be equipped with professional knowledge and communication skills with the public and the local media, aiming at creating a positive vibe of the latter towards the message and daily work of the EU Corner everywhere in each Albanian Municipality, but also the start of the mission of these Corners; knowing the EU and the opportunities it offers for every Albanian citizen. In this framework, 16 EU local Coordinators from the municipalities of Tropoja-Pogradec, Dibra, Bulqiza, Klos, Puka, Durrës, Malësi e Madhe, Shijak, Mat, Kamza, Mirdita, Shkodër, Vau i Dejës, Kurbin and Lezha, are being trained in the city of Lezha during these two days with a knowledge transfer module on communication and techniques of using channels and communication tools. The Project ‘Municipalities for Europe’ will continue with the trainings on this topic with the rest of the local coordinators in other cities of the country.
