To celebrate the European Day of Languages, , the European Integration Unit in Kuçovë Municipality, in cooperation with the Faculty of Foreign Languages and with the support of "Municipalities for Europe" organized a visit and learning tour, with “5 Tetori” High School students, at the Faculty of Foreign Languages of the University of Tirana.
The students visited the premises of the Faculty, got informed about the programs offered by the institution and attended an open lecture by Prof. Dr. Andromaqi Haloçi, on the topic "Migrating from one language to another" that emphasized the values of multilingualism, intercultural education, which are conveyed in the local educational context, but also within the European context. Also Prof. Dr. Shpresa Delija spoke to the students about the necessity of learning foreign languages, the usefulness on a personal and professional level and the long tradition of the Faculty in the preparation of teachers, translators and specialists of intercultural communication.
The students had the opportunity to share experiences with their peers from “Ernest Koliqi” High School in Tirana and with Faculty of Foreign Languages students who have benefited from Erasmus+ programs.
