In October, a month baptized by the Ministry of Culture as the "Book Reading Month", the Municipality of Divjaka joined the Book Fair, organized at the "Koli Sako" high school in Divjaka.
In addition to the donations made by the Local Office of Pre-University Education in Divjakë and a Publishing House, the Office of European Integration in the Municipality of Divjaka gave its contribution to the activity through the "Donate a book, open a window" project, funded by "Municipalities for Europe".
The European Integration Office project cooperated with the "Koli Sako" School project, which started in April and aims the enrichment of its Library.
The "Municipalities for Europe" project donated to the school’s library 40 extracurricular books, encyclopedias, books by Renaissance authors, as well as contemporary literature which help students to strengthen their knowledge on interdisciplinary projects.
This project serves the community, parents, teachers and students, to return the overall attention towards books, to encourage volunteerism in donating literature and to embrace books as the main instrument of knowledge.
Closing the activity, certificates were distributed for the best readers of the Year (2021-2022) with the hope of finding more of them in the future!
