On April 19, 2018, within the framework of the “Earth Week”, the EU Corner in Patos Municipality in cooperation with the Environmental Office of this municipality, as well as students from several city schools, organized the environmental contest “From trash to artwork”.
In this competition, the students presented some objects prepared by them with recyclable materials and were tested on their knowledge of European environmental protection legislation.
At the end of the competition, the local administration employees, EU Corner staff and students, all together created a map of environmental issues in the city of Patos, where everybody presented an environmental issue in the neighborhood where he/she lives.
