On June 2, 2018, the Department of Justice at the Faculty Political Sciencesand Law, Aleksandër Moisiu University in Durrës (UAMD) organized a scientific conference on “Good Governance as an important Dimension for the Integration towards the European Union”.
Parts of this panel were Prof.As.Dr. Andon Kume, Dean of the Faculty of Political Sciences and Law, Mr. Florian Tahiri, Deputy Mayor of Durrës, Mrs. Pranvera Gagani the representative of the EU-Desk in Durrës, Mrs. Mona Xhexhaj, Program Director at European Movement Albania, as well as representatives of the “National Alliance of Students Senate”.
In her speech, the EU Coordinator for the Municipality of Durres, Ms. Pranvera Gagani, after making a brief presentation of the core of the project “Cities for Europe”, the successful cooperation between the EU Corner Durrës and UAMD, expressed gratitude to all 45 academics who would present their scientific work and invited them to visit the EU Corner at the City Hall to look closely at the work and opportunities this corner offers for their academic journey through ERASMUS Plus.
