The "Municipalities for Europe" project, in collaboration with the Albanian School of Public Administration, organized on May 5-7, 2023 the following training session, in the city of Shëngjin, for the newly employed representatives of the European Integration Units in the municipalities of Albania. The 3-day training focused on the Management of European Integration Structures at the local level, their functions, as well as communication and visibility elements. During the training days, which alternated between theoretical presentations by experts from the "Municipalities for Europe" project, practical exercises, and real situations, representatives of the Integration Units were introduced from the first day to topics such as the Role of Local Governance in the European Integration process; the history of the creation of European Integration Units at the Local level in Albania, and in the EU. While the second and third days focused on Internal Institutional Communication, External Communication with third parties, as well as public speaking techniques and public relations.
