On April 14, 2018, in the monthly “Women’s Friday” event, the EU Corner in Patos Municipality presented to representatives of the Local Women's Platform of the city, gender mainstreaming and its importance in the process of empowering women at the local level, based on the EU's commitment towards gender equality and its best practices.

At the end of the presentation, it was evidenced that the Patos administration fulfills the gender ratio, as 53% of the employees are women and are mainly at managerial levels.

At the end of this meeting, the event continued with a performance in which the “Miss&Mister Patosi 2018” beauty passport contestants showed a parade dressed with tshirts with the logo of the EU city Corner to ensure more visibility of its presence in this municipality.
