In the framework of Pink October, an activity was organized in Divjaka Municipality, in the context of a nationwide awareness campaign for breast cancer.
The town square dressed in pink on this October 20th, in an activity where all ages participated, organized by the Municipality of Divjaka, in coordination with the city's Health Polyclinic, the staff of the Local Health Care Unit of Lushnja, high school students etc.
"Timely control and diagnosis prevent the disease and save lives", was the activity’s main message, reinforced by the experience shared by a woman who successfully fought the disease.
During the activity, that lasted throughout the day, health advice was shared with participants, visits were made and symbolic works made by the participating students were distributed. Awareness messages advocated to not neglect check-ups not only during October, but also throughout the year.
At the end, the young people made a bicycle march conveying the message "We are stronger together!".
