The EU Corner in Vlora, has continued its informative activities, in the Administrative Units of this Municipality.
On 23rd of April 2019, The EU Corner went to the Novosela Administrative Unit, at the Military High School, where under the direction of the EU coordinator in the Municipality of Vlora, Mrs. Fabiola Deliaj, the youth held an information and discussion hour, focused on agriculture.
The Novosela Administrative Unit is an area with developed small family businesses, such as restaurants, fruit and vegetable cultivation, as well as various businesses focused in domestic bio products.
The youth, divided into groups, came up with ideas on how to develop the community in which they live in, with the purpose of generating more income, thus improving living conditions. They stressed the very favorable geographical location of this Administrative Unit, like the proximity to the sea, Vjosa River, the improved infrastructure, soil fertility, etc.
Given that the event coincided with the International Earth Day, a special discussion among the youth was dedicated to issues such as environmental pollution as a result of irresponsible residents in some areas, and the importance of raising awareness among them for keeping a clean environment, as a guarantee for the future of our children and youth.
