Kavaja, May 9th 2019 – In the framework of “Europe Week”, the EU Corner in the Municipality of Kavaja organized the “Europe Cup” annual event. This football competition was organized with the participation of the city’s elementary schools, as well as with the cooperation of the Culture and Sports Directorate. The Cup’s final match was played by “Mehmet Babamusta” and “Fiqiri Kurti” elementary schools. In the end the awarded winner was the “Fiqiri Kurti” school. The purpose of this activity was the promotion of sports values in the city of Kavaja, as well as the youth’s desire to be much more involved in activities for young people but also information sessions about the EU.
