On the World No-Tobacco Day, the EU Corner of Shkodra, in cooperation with the Housing and Social Services Directorate, organized an activity with students from “Shejnaze Juka” high school of this city.

The purpose of this activity was to raise awareness of the risks associated with tobacco consumption.

Ms. Lorena Bardeli, a specialist in the Public Health and Consumer Protection Sector at Shkoder municipality, addressed the issues that tobacco consumption has brought.

Part of this activity was also the information provided to the students on the project “Municipalities in Europe”, the functions of the EU corner and, in particular, the opportunities of benefiting from the EU Erasmus Plus program.
