VLORA, 27-28 May 2019 The series of trainings that are being conducted by the team of the “Municipalities for Europe”, in the framework of Phase II of this project, continued in the city of Vlora, where the heads of the European Integration and Foreign Affair Coordination Units of 10 municipalities, were trained for two days on matters of Reporting about EU funded projects and Communication Strategies.
The expert, Mrs Anila Boshnjak gave a presentation on all the steps that should be followed by the Municipalities teams, regarding procurement procedures, account openings, internal state procedures, reporting, and the EU (PRAG) ones.
Participant in the meeting were representatives of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Mrs Xherina Haxhillari and Mrs. Manjola Hidri, who stressed the importance of building the right mechanisms for an efficient management of Eu funds.
Communication expert, Mr. Ermal Gjinaj gave a presentation of the Communication Strategy of the project’s Phase II, which is already approved of and confirmed by the EUD, while local coordinators were trained also on developing special plans of communication that will be implemented in accordance with needs of the local communities.
In addition to the presentations, the training included discussions, practical exercises, group work and presentations of successful Report practices.
