May 17th 2019 – The European Integration and Foreign Assistance Coordination Unit in the Municipality of Devoll, in cooperation with the head of the homologous unit in the Municipality of Përmet, in the framework of “Europe Week”, organized an information session on the Erasmus+ program with the youth of Devoll.

About 20 excellent students of the city’s high school attended the meeting. Initially they had an open discussion on the European Union and Albania’s integration process. They were somewhat informed on the matter, but not completely.

Later the head of the European Integration and Foreign Assistance Coordination Unit in the Municipality of Përmet, informed the youth present at the meeting on the opportunities provided by the Erasmus + program in Albania, while focusing mainly in youth exchanges, volunteering and trainings, as the opportunities that target the youth.

Most of the students didn’t have information on this program but their curiosity and will to take advantage of these opportunities was great.

The coordinator of the European Integration Unit told to the students that they can find the information needed on the EU, at the EU Corner in the Municipality of Devoll. Such activities and cooperation’s will continue in the future.
