22nd of April, 2019 – The European Integration and Foreign Assistance Coordination Unit in the Municipality of Peqin, organized an activity in the framework of Earth Day celebrations.
Participants in the activity were students and teachers of “Hysni Cela” elementary school in Karina.
The students held and exhibition of their drawings, themed on the environment and its protection.
“Without a clean environment, there’s no life”. This was the message conveyed by the activity, organized with the special support of the EU Corner in the municipality of Peqin.
Besides the environmental activity, the students were also given information on the scope of the “Municipalities for Europe” project, as well as the activity that the EU Corner in the Municipality of Peqin organizes, in the framework of this project.
