Within the “International Consumer Rights Day” on 15 March 2018, the EU Corner in the Municipalityof Durres, in cooperation with the Albanian Consumer Center, organized two informative meetings with high school students from “Olsi Lasku” and “Besnik Hidri” schools of the Rrashbull administrative unit of this city.

In the course of these two meetings, at the beginning of the information sessions, the students became acquainted with the “Municipalities for Europe”project supported by the European Union, as well as the EU Corner established in their city.During this presentation, they had the opportunity to explore the benefits they and their peers have by having an information center interlinked to the European Union in their city, and the way they can make use of it/exploit it.

In the second half of the meeting, they were informed on European standards related to consumer protection, their rights as consumers, and how they could address their complaints to relevant institutions.
