61 EU Coordinators in the Municipalities of Albania receive the appropriate know-how on institutional communication
After a full training session in the city of Vlora with 30 local EU coordinators administering the EU Corners in 61 municipalities of the country, the sequence of their capacity building continued in the city of Kruja on 15 and 16 March 2018.
Likewise, the first training, the focus of this session, for all the coordinators, was the methodology of interactive communication of EU Corners with various institutional stakeholders, domestic and international, in order to manage the daily work processes of the EU's Corner.
In the framework of enhancing the communication skills of EU coordinators in each municipality, the project “Municipalities for Europe” planned a combination of theory with practice components of the traininf. During the training session, the coordinators were able to access and interact in concrete situations with the help of project experts.
Representatives of the Local Self-Government Support Agency (AMVV) who closely follow the project's implementation, attended training sessions in the city of Kruja.
In building the capacities of the Local Coordinators, the “Municipalities for Europe” project closely cooperates with the Albanian School of Public Administration (ASPA), which at the end of the training cycle will be also their official endorsement institution.
The Project Municipalities for Europe, supported by the EU Delegation in Tirana, focuses inter alia on the capacity building of local administrations with regard to the implementation of European standards in the exercise of their functions and duties.
